ATLANTA – Coaches and players at Grand Canyon and Concordia-Irvine, the MCLA Division I and Division II national champions, respectively, recently received their rings marking the accomplishment.

Grand Canyon, which won its second national championships in the past three years in 2018, had the school’s purple “GCU” logo imprinted on the top of the ring surrounded by diamonds.

The Lopes defeated Chapman, 12-8, to capture the title.

Concordia-Irvine won its first title in ’18, upending top-seeded St. Thomas in the title game to avenge the only loss of the season.

CUI’s ring had the school’s Eagle mascot on the ring surrounded by diamonds.

Grand Canyon will open its season on Feb. 23 when the Lopes travel to Cal Poly. Concordia, which moves to Division I this spring, starts its campaign at home against SLC divisional rival UCLA on Feb. 10.
