Troy Oldham has been involved with lacrosse for 25+ years as a player, assistant and head coach. Returning to his alma matter of Utah State University, where he played lacrosse in the late 80's, Troy brings his love for the game, the school, and the community. Coach Oldham continues a tradition in Cache Valley Lacrosse, taking over the USU program after coaching the Sky View Bobcats (high school) for three seasons taking them to an undefeated season and D-II state championship in 2014. Coach Oldham is looking to duplicate that success with the Aggies, including recruiting several of past players and some of the top players in Utah and across the country. Oldham's vision is to have USU Lacrosse a place where team members love the game, are proud to wear the Aggie uniform, and young players aspire to play at USU. Coach Oldham also believes that USU can be a destination school for players from all over the state and nation, and his 2016/2017 team is represented by players from over 9 different states. Oldham is actively involved in the local community. He has served on the Logan Regional Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees, the Cache Valley Community Health Clinic, board member/patroller of the Beaver Mountain Ski Patrol/National Ski Patrol, USU Alumni Executive Council, and the Big Blue Scholarship Fund at USU. In the summer, Troy also serves as the race director of the 1000-rider Cache Gran Fondo bike tour.
