Kevin Totaro, a native of Fallston, Md. took the helm of the men's lacrosse team with the program's first season in 2014. Coach Totaro led the Vikings to a GRLC Division II championship, an appearance in the 2014 MCLA Division II National Tournament, a final ranking of No. 13 ranking in the MCLA Division II Coaches' Poll, nine all-conference selections, one all-American and a 15-2 record. Totaro duplicated that success in year two, guiding Missouri Valley to another GRLC Division II title, second-straight appearance in the MCLA Division II National Tournament, a No. 3 overall ranking in the MCLA Division II Coaches' Poll, 12 all-conference selections, four MCLA Division II All-Americans and a final record of 11-2. Raised in Harford County, Totaro graduated from Harford Tech High School in 2004 where he played football and lacrosse earning second team `all county` lacrosse honors, leading the county in goals scored and was second in overall points. He attended Harford Community College, playing for the school's lacrosse team for two years. Totaro then attended Shenandoah University from 2008-2010, playing Division III lacrosse for the Hornets and serving as senior captain, leading the team in scoring. Totaro started his coaching career in Northern Virginia Community College as an assistant coach, and was most recently an assistant coach at Catonsville Community College in Baltimore, Md. Totaro has participated in various lacrosse camps and coached the General Lacrosse Club summer team in Virginia as well as a local Baltimore recreation team, along with serving as a volunteer for the Maryland Special Olympics.
