BURNABY, B.C. -- Defending conference champion Western Washington has been tabbed the overwhelming favorite to repeat as kings of the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League's Division II according to the preseason coaches poll. The Vikings took 10 of the 12 first place votes and were 23 points clear of their closest competitors.
The race for second is where the drama unfolds as both Western Oregon and Portland are tied for the second chair. The Pilots routed the Wolves in last year's regular season matchup, 14-6. The College of Idaho sits comfortably in fourth place in the 12-team league.
