ATLANTA – With an explosive performance in a pair of big wins for the Longhorns, Texas junior attackman Morry Stein is the MCLA Division I Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending March 16.

In a huge Top 11 matchup with No. 4 Florida under the Saturday night lights, Texas notched a convincing, 16-12 triumph over the Gators. The Denver, Colo., native was a big part of the victory, striking for four goals along with two assists.

The Longhorns capped the weekend with an 11-5 divisional victory over LSU on Sunday bolstered by another hat trick from Stein and a dime.

For the weekend, Stein posted seven goals and three helpers.

“Morry is proving why he is one of the best in the MCLA in 2025,” said Texas coach Kyle Hartzell. “He demands the attention of a defense which in return opens up his teammates.

“What was most impressive about Morry’s performance over the weekend was his riding and defense after we turned the ball over. Those plays really created a lot of momentum and juice for us and it was the difference over the weekend.”

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Stein will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O head – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
