LOVES PARK, Ill. – With a strong defensive effort that featured 15 saves from Gunner Arens, St. Thomas won the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference Division II championship with an 11-7 victory over Grand Valley State.
With the victory, the Tommies have automatically qualified for the 2024 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will be held at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 6-11.

Cam Gelling was the offensive spark for St. Thomas the entire tournament, finishing with 14 goals and three assists. The victory avenged an overtime regular-season setback to GVSU.
