ATLANTA – After leading undefeated Simon Fraser to a Top 10 victory on Saturday, sophomore attackman Riley Isaacs is the MCLA Division I Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending March 26.

Simon Fraser traveled to Provo to face No. 10 Brigham Young and thanks to five goals from the Calgary kid, Fraser sunk the Cougars, 11-10.

For the season, Isaacs has 14 goals and seven assists in four games (5.25 points per game).

"Riley has been one of our biggest offensive contributors since he got to SFU," said Simon Fraser coach Matt Sobey. "I'm really happy that he's getting national recognition for his achievements. He did everything for us on Saturday. Five goals with an incredibly talented All-American long pole following him around the field is just the tip of the iceberg.

"He opened lanes for other guys on the team when he was off-ball, he caused chaos on the ride and he even played a couple shifts of good defense when he got stuck over center. He has an incredible knowledge of the game and he uses it to help make everyone on the team the best version of themselves.

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Isaacs will receive a Warrior EVO QX-O – a $100 value – for his efforts. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
