Each week, coaches in the SELC submit their nominations to the SELC awards committee for an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week to be recognized. Below are the SELC Players of the Week for games played March 27-April 2:

Division I

Offensive Player of the Week
Sam Wheeler, Georgia - Freshman, Attack
Georgia knocked off Georgia Tech for the first time since 2013 with the help of Wheeler's play. He totaled two groundballs and six goals with assistance in the clearing game on Saturday's win.

Defensive Player of the Week
Theodore Russell, South Carolina - Junior, Defense
The Gamecocks again took down another ranked number one team in Liberty over the weekend. Russell was an essential part of South Carolina's success, picking up six groundballs and racking up five takeaways in the effort.

Division II

Offensive Player of the Week
Colin Hunter, Florida Atlantic - Junior, Midfield
In a huge divisional win for Florida Atlantic over their rivals down the road, Miami, Hunter would have 8 points in total with 4 goals and 4 assists. This punched Florida Atlantic's ticket to the SELC Conference Tournament.

Defensive Player of the Week
Chase Edwards, Florida Gulf Coast - Freshman, Faceoff Specialist
Florida Gulf Coast would break out their brooms as they swept the weekend defeating North Florida and Georgia Southern. Edwards was a key part of their success going 75% at the dot, scooping up 21 groundballs and scoring a goal.
