JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) announced its 2023 Division II all-conference selections as well as its major award winners during the semifinals of its tournament on Saturday, April 22, at the Bolles School.

Florida Atlantic attackman Ryan Thomas was selected as the Corey Noonan Offensive Player of the Year and leads a contingent of five Owls on the all-conference first team. Midfielder Patrick Cerasuolo also took home Rookie of the Year honors for Florida Atlantic.

Florida Gulf Coast goalie Grant Shafer was awarded the Sonny Pieper Defensive Player of the Year and he is one of five first team all-conference picks from the Eagles. FGCU was also presented the Bill Harkins Coaching Staff of the Year.

Kennesaw State faceoff man Mitch Taylor was Specialty Player of the Year this spring and led a crew of three Owls on the first team.
