FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) moves to Canvas Stadium on the campus of Colorado State University for the 2023 conference tournament, which will be held on April 28-29.

Each RMLC division winner will receive an automatic berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will be held at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 8-13.

BRACKETS: DIVISION I | DIVISION II

Saturday semifinal action will begin with Division II and a 10 a.m. matchup between Northwest top seed Montana State (12-1) and Southeast second seed MSU Denver (6-3). The two teams met on March 11 in Bozeman with the Bobcats taming the Roadrunners, 16-7, on the strength of three goals and four assists from Johnathan Serrell.

The 1 p.m. D-II semifinal features Air Force (8-1), the top seed out of the Southeast, matching up with Northwest second seed Utah State (9-7). The two teams did not meet during the regular season.

The Division I semifinals begin at 4 p.m., as top-seeded Utah Valley (13-2) tangles with fourth seed Colorado State (5-8). The two outfits met last Thursday in Orem, with the Wolverines rolling to a 22-10 victory thanks to seven goals and two assists from Blake Yates.

Colorado (6-6), the third seed, will meet second-seeded Brigham Young (12-5) in the Division I nightcap at 7 p.m. The squads met last Thursday as the Cougars posted a 15-8 victory, helped by four goals and an assist from Andrew Freedman.

“The Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference is very excited for this upcoming championship weekend,” said RMLC director John Robinette. “It’s been a long time since Fort Collins has hosted our playoffs, and we are looking forward to the games being played in Canvas Stadium, a newer addition to the campus, and a state of the art athletic facility.

“All of our student athletes, coaches and staffs have worked very hard this season to get to this point, and we can’t wait to see the action unfold.”

Admission is $18 with those 18 and under getting in free. Tickets can be purchased in advance HERE.
