FITCHBURG, Mass. – With a dominating performance over Bridgewater State, x-x, in the finals, Rhode Island has captured the 2022 Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) Division II title.
The Rams (9-2) will now await their postseason fate as they are a member of the at-large pool for the 2022 MCLA National Championshipis presented by New Balance, which will be held in Round Rock, Texas, from May 9-14.
Jack Duffy led the way for Rhode Island with a game-high five goals, helping the Rams build a 10-5 halftime lead that Bridgewater State (8-7) would never be threatened.
