Portland State Searching for Asst. Coach

PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Portland State men’s lacrosse program is searching for an assistant coach.

In its eighth year as an entity, the Vikings are a competitive program in Division II of the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), in which they participate in the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL).

As an assistant coach for Portland State, the candidate must be able to manage multiple facets of the program throughout the year. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, positive, hard working and dedicated coach to help lead our team. As assistant coach, your duties would be:

- Assist with organizing and leading practice

- Attending scrimmages, games and any other team events

- Assisting with scheduling

- Assisting the head coach with any and all recruiting efforts (Ex: speaking to potential players who are interested in our program)

This is a paid position and if you are offered the job, you will need to be able to pass a background check.
