FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Northern Arizona University Men’s Lacrosse Program is currently accepting applications for the position of Head Coach, effective immediately. This is a unique opportunity to lead a respected MCLA Division II program located in one of the country’s most scenic college towns.

<b>About the Program</b>

NAU Men’s Lacrosse competes in the MCLA’s Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) and seeks a mature, experienced coach to foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, academic success, and athletic excellence. The next head coach will play a central role in program development, recruiting, and ensuring continued competitive success.

<b>Primary Responsibilities</b>

- Assemble and manage a committed coaching staff<br>- Lead by example to establish a culture of accountability, respect, and professionalism<br>- Promote both academic and athletic achievement<br>- Develop and distribute organized practice and strength training schedules<br>- Manage scouting, film breakdown, and in-game strategy<br>- Execute a year-round recruiting strategy to attract players that are willing to work and have the skills necessary to grow our team.<br>- Coordinate game scheduling<br>- Foster communication and collaboration within the team and broader lacrosse community

<b>Administrative Involvement (Shared Responsibility)</b>

- Budget planning and management<br>- Travel logistics and team spending<br>- Fundraising initiatives<br>- Alumni and parent engagement

<b>Compensation &amp; Benefits</b>

- Base Salary: Starting at $20,000/year (negotiable based on experience)<br>- Additional budget available for assistant coach salaries<br>- Incentive bonuses based on performance

<b>Preferred Qualifications</b>

- Prior MCLA coaching experience (head or assistant level)<br>- Successful head coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level<br>- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with players, parents, and alumni<br>- Commitment to building a sustainable and competitive lacrosse program
