DENVER – In a move to strengthen its forward unit, the Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) has signed former Grand Canyon standout Dean Fairall to a one-year contract.

Fairall, a St. Albert, Alberta, product, scored 146 goals and dished out 108 assists (254 points) in 56 games during his four-year stint at Grand Canyon from 2013-16.

In that span, the Lopes posted a 43-14 record and qualified for the MCLA National Championships twice, winning the title in 2015. In seven games at nationals, Fairall amassed 13 goals and eight assists.

“He has proven himself as a producer at every level,” said Grand Canyon coach Manny Rapkin. “I have no doubt he can do that in the NLL, as well.”
