ATLANTA – As a way to profile its 200-plus teams that span nearly the entire country, the MCLA’s Snapchat account (the_mcla) will be hosting weekly “Team Takeovers” where various programs give an inside glimpse at their operations via the popular social media platform.

The project will start on Wednesday, March 17 when Palm Beach Atlantic will put its behind-the-scenes gameday preparations on Snapchat as the Sailfish build up to their contest against SELC divisional rival Florida Atlantic.

“We’re excited to give our fans, the MCLA and the lacrosse community an inside look at Palm Beach Atlantic lacrosse and our gameday prep,” said Jayson Schmidt, the director of operations for the Sailfish. “The opportunity to start this Snapchat series in conjunction with the MCLA is one our players and staff are eager to undertake.”

The series will run through the course of the regular season and will feature teams from both divisions and a wide array of conferences.
