In what was billed as "Judgment Weekend," the Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC) established itself as the premier Division II conference in the MCLA with solid performance against the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association – the conference generally accepted as the best in 2015.

Four teams from each of the conferences met in South Barrington, Ill., a Chicago suburb, from Friday through Sunday, creating a de factor "Challenge" series. When the dust settled, the UMLC held an 8-3 advantage.
