BALTIMORE, Md. -- With the MCLA season just over a month away, Lacrosse Magazine has released its preseason rankings for Division I. Leading the charge for the association's top division this year is defending national champion Grand Canyon, as the Lopes are at the top of the list.
Following Grand Canyon is Colorado, which lost to the Lopes in the championship game of the MCLA National Tournament powered by Under Arrmour, by a goal.
Virginia Tech, which lost an overtime heartbreaker to Colorado in the national semifinals in Orange, Calif., is third, followed by Southwestern Lacrosse Conference foes Chapman and Arizona State.
