ATLANTA - For the third straight year, the EMW Foundation will be hosting the LAX Coaches vs. Cancer event from March 4-6 in Henderson, Nev. The event features 11 MCLA teams competing over three days, with all of the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Georgia Tech and Michigan State will play in Atlanta on Sunday, March 6 in the first-ever East Coast game supporting the Lax Coaches vs. Cancer contest. The Yellow Jackets and Spartans will faceoff at 5 p.m.

"We were contacted by Matt Holman at the end of last season and we have great respect for what has been accomplished, " said Ken Lovic, Georgia Tech head coach and president of the MCLA. "I quickly called Cam Holding at Michigan State, who strongly agreed to join us in this event. We are hoping to gather support in the Atlanta lacrosse community and feel that through combined efforts, we will make a solid impact for the American Cancer Society."
