ATLANTA – Defending champion Dayton remains the top team in the most recent Under Armour MCLA Top 25 Coaches poll. The Flyers snagged 17 of the 27 available first place votes to extend their lead over second-ranked Concordia-Irvine from last week.

The Eagles picked up two more first place votes this week, but slipped 25 points behind Dayton from just 14 last week. UMLC rivals North Dakota State and St. Thomas flip-flopped in the third and fourth chair despite neither team playing a game.
Grand Valley State, which is also still waiting to play its opening contest, rounded out the Top 5.
One of the big movers of the week was Minn.-Duluth, which rocketed from the No. 15 spot to No. 6 after taking down St. John’s last weekend. The Johnnies, formerly No. 5, are now in the seventh slot.
Metro State (No. 25) broke into the rankings this week, bumping Bridgewater State.
