ATLANTA – Defending national champion Dayton has kept its place atop the Under Armour MCLA Division II Coaches Poll for the third consecutive week, but two candidates are certainly eyeing the Flyers’ prize.
On the strength of a win over Minn.-Duluth, North Dakota has jumped into the No. 2 chair, leapfrogging No. 3 Concordia-Irvine, which is coming off a win over a ranked San Diego outfit. The Eagles hold a 9-4 advantage in first place votes over the Bison, but NDSU was obviously aided by some down-ballot voting.

St. Thomas and Grand Valley State round out the Top 5.
Weekend upsets sent Missouri Valley (-8) and Florida Gulf Coast (-5) sliding down the charts, opening the door for many teams to bump up a peg or two.
CSU-San Marcos was the only team to leave the poll this week, making way for Lindenwood-Belleville. The Lynx stunned Missouri Valley to earn their ticket to the party.
