D-II Poll: Tourney Time for Ranked Teams

ATLANTA – Both the UMLC and CCLA tournaments kick off this weekend, and the two conference playoffs boast seven of the Top 10 teams in the Under Armour MCLA Division II Coaches Poll, which was released Wednesday.

The top three seeds in the UMLC playoffs – No. 1 St. Thomas, No. 3 North Dakota State and No. 7 St. John’s – are all in the first 10 while four CCLA title contenders – No. 5 Dayton, No. 6 Grove City, No. 8 Grand Valley State and No. 9 Siena Heights – also share that honor.

In total, 10 of the teams in those two conference championships are ranked.

The teams making up the Top 25 are unchanged from last week.

Receiving votes: Southern Oregon (36), SCAD (28), Fort Lewis (22), Northern Arizona (12), UT-Dallas (11), St. Gregory’s (11), Florida Gulf Coast (9), Western Washington (9), Bridgewater State (7), La.-Lafayette (7), Southern Conn. State (3), Wake Forest (3), Cal State San Marcos (3), Central Conn. State (3), Appalachian State (1), Washington-St. Louis (1).
