ATLANTA – Most of the Under Armour MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll has remained the same from last week. The only difference appears to be an abundance of ties.
Grand Valley State (2-1) and St. John’s (7-1) are tied at the No. 5 spot, while Missouri State (5-2) and Wake Forest (7-0) are stacked up at No. 18 and North Florida (6-4) and Providence (1-3) are sharing No. 22.
Other than Northern Arizona (5-1) moving into the Top 10, the hard facts are the same as they have been for the last month: North Dakota State (6-0) is in control with 19 of 20 first place votes and a 20 point lead.
Minn.-Duluth (6-2) continues its role as second fiddle while fellow UMLC colleagues St. Thomas (6-1) and Dayton (4-1) round out the Top 5.
Central Conn. State (2-4) exits this week poll to make way for No. 25 Baylor (7-2), as the Bears make their second appearance of the spring.
