ATLANTA – For the fourth-consecutive week, Kennesaw State is in the big chair of the New Balance MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll.

The Owls (8-0), who boast 14 first-place votes, have been idle for nearly three weeks, but will resume action on Saturday when they face No. 17 Florida Atlantic (9-3) in the semifinals of the SELC tournament.

College of Idaho (8-0) remains at No. 2 strengthened by 11 first-place votes. The Yotes have cut Kennesaw’s margin to just two points, and will finish the regular season against No. 23 Northwest Nazarene (6-2) on Saturday.

St. Thomas grabbed the last top vote and sits at No. 3. The Tommies enter this weekend’s UMLC tournament as the top seed in the East subdivision and will play the winner of the No. 6 Dayton (6-3) and St. John’s (3-10) first-round contest.

No. 4 Rhode Island and No. 5 Grand Valley State round out the Top 5. The Rams wrap up their regular season against Maine on Saturday while the Lakers are the top seed in the UMLC West. They await the winner of the No. 16 Minn.-Duluth (4-6) and No. 11 North Dakota State (6-6) tilt.

MSU Denver (8-4) was escorted out of the club this week, making room for No. 25 Air Force Academy (4-3).
