DENVER - After rolling to its first national championship last spring, Montana State is the pick to click in Division II of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC), according to the preseason coaches poll.
The Bobcats snagged six of the eight first-place votes to pull clear of the field in the eight-team conference. Air Force, which handed Montana State one of its two losses on the season in the conference championship game, was ranked second, bolstered by a pair of top votes.
Denver, whose three losses came at the hands of either Montana State or Air Force, stands in the third spot followed by Utah State in fourth.
