LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Fresh off opening weekend for many teams, the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference (ALC) is back at it this week with a number of high level games in both Division I and Division II.

Division I - North

No. 4 Liberty v. No. 7 South Carolina
Preseason favorites Liberty host the seventh-ranked South Carolina. This will be Liberty’s first game of the season while South Carolina will be playing its third game.

James Madison at No. 2 Georgia Tech & Vanderbilt
The Dukes open their MCLA career with a game against the Commodores on Sat., Feb. 19. They then will be facing alumnus Ken Lovic and his No. 2 ranked Yellow Jacket squad. This will be a great opening weekend in Atlanta for the Dukes.

Pittsburgh v. Indiana
The Panthers welcome the Hoosiers to town in their opening game of the season. As newcomers to the ALC, the Panthers want to make a statement. On Sunday, they will host Miami (Ohio) in another tussle to get them prepared for playing against Liberty on Feb. 26.

West Virginia v. Indiana
The Mountaineers are off to an inauspicious start. After falling to 0-2 they traveled to Arizona and played two Top 20 programs to some tight games before falling. They welcome the Hoosiers to town where they will look to notch their first win of the season.

Division I - South

No. 9 Clemson v. Auburn & Texas A&M
The Clemson Tigers take their undefeated record on the road to battle the Auburn Tigers at home and a neutral site competition against the Aggies. Clemson is coming off big wins over divisional foes NC State and Tennessee. This is their first foray outside the ALC and should be a good challenge for the No. 9 Tigers.

No. 14 Virginia Tech v. No. 7 South Carolina
The Hokies put their 2-0 record up to the test against the defending national champion South Carolina. Coming off a loss, the Gamecocks will be hungry to get a win. This game has implications for the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance.
