ATLANTA – Posting a monster game against a key divisional rival, Air Force Academy’s Mark Tang has earned the MCLA Warrior Player of the Week honors in Division II.
Facing off against RMLC Southeast contender Denver in the season opener, the Moraga, Calif., product scored five goals while dropping four dimes in the nine-point afternoon.
“Mark had a great game against Denver,” said Air Force coach Robert Koehler. “He makes everyone around him better because they know they have to play with their head up. Mark is a great finisher, but an even better feeder.
“When it was crunch time in the second half, he really stepped it up.”
For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Tang will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
